Places To Stay
There are a lot of places to stay in Brunei!
On our next trip to Brunei we’re going to try to bargain for some deals, seeing as we will hopefully be seeing a lot of overseas guests attend our wedding!
For now, the best ones we’ve seen are:
1. The Empire Hotel & Country Club
Slightly more expensive, but this hotel has several pools, a cinema, and have water sport equipment available. It also has a small private beach area.
Room rates average at BND$400/USD$290/GBP₤175 per night (max. 3 adults per room) and a private 2 bedroom villa (max. 6 people) with a private pool averages BND$1300/USD$935/GBP₤567 per night.
This hotel is located in the center of Bandar Seri Begawan. The hotel has one outdoor pool.
Room rates average at BND$250/USD$180/GBP₤108 per night (max. 3 adults per room).
The Rizqun is located in Brunei’s retail district and is connected to a mall. The hotel has a pool and was only built recently so is nice and new on the inside!
Room rates average at BND$320/USD$230/GBP₤140 per night (max. 3 adults per room).
The Orchid Garden is located roughly 5 minutes (by foot!) away from the nikah ceremony venue. The hotel has a pool and apart from the D’Anggerek is probably the closest hotel you will find to the house we will be staying at.
Room rates average at BND$150/USD$110/GBP₤66 per night.
The D’Anggerek is more a serviced apartment complex than a hotel, with very simple rooms, but with everything you need. There is no pool at this hotel, although it is a short walk away from the National Swimming Pool Complex. It is also very close to the house, it neighbors the Orchid Garden Hotel.
Room rates average at BND$60/USD$45/GBP₤27 per night.
